Bro, there WILL be women who aren't into shorter guys and you WILL enounter them who will also improve self confidence. It's a numbers game, and you just have to weed them out by going up to many women.
However, if you're freaked out before hand, then YOU are weeding out girls who will like you anyway and you aren't even giving them a chance.
That crap is all in your head, and you should be doing the exercises from volume I - like the relaxation exercise to get rid of it. Also, you have a little voice in your head telling you all of this negative stuff. Slow that voice down, turn it into the voice of a hot chick, and it will lose much of its power over you.
You don't need any special strategies over anyone else - all you need to do is reprogram what's in your head that's giving you the negative messages. Improve self confidence.
